Alan had a love for the outdoors. He loved going hunting and fishing whenever he could. He shared his love of the outdoors with his children, grandchildren and any others from his circle that were interested. He was a wonderful husband and equally wonder father and grandfather. He always put his family first and was always there to lend a hand to his friends as well. Anyone who met him had nothing but good to say about him. Alan developed some very wonderful, long-term friendships throughout his life.
He loved his parents fiercely and whenever they needed help, he was there as always the dutiful son. He had a love for coins that he shared with his father. This common interest helped strengthen their bond. Every once in a while he and his mother would go fishing and enjoy each other’s company. He loved going down to sit with his parents after supper to just visit and be with them.
Animals that came his way had a special connection with him. It was uncanny how they all followed him. In the end, Mama Kitty made sure he was never alone.
He was loved so thoroughly by everyone in his life and he will be so intensely missed.
Besides his loving wife Marisa of 33 years, Alan is survived by two daughters, Amber M. and Lia M. Kelley; a son, Alec A. Kelley; four grandchildren, Nicholas A. and Ellie G. Stevens and Barry A. and Luna M. Zalewa; parents Alfred E. and Judith M. Kelley; a sister Tina M. Corliss and a brother Patrick S. Kelley.
