Alecsandru Nitu, cherished soul and son of Constantin and Aristita Nitu, departed this world on January 7, 2025, at his home in Manchester, New Hampshire, leaving behind a tapestry of precious memories woven through his remarkable life. Born on November 9, 1947, in the picturesque village of Albuesti, Mehedinti, Romania, he moved to the United States, where he embarked on a fruitful career as an auto technician, demonstrating both skill and determination in his field.

Education played an integral role in shaping Alecsandru's character, as he attended school in Romania during his formative years. His vibrant personality radiated optimism; with a sharp, quick-witted intellect and an eye for detail, he approached life with a contagious enthusiasm that uplifted those fortunate enough to cross his path. His laughter and unique giggle could bring a smile to anyone around him, embodying a joy that was simply infectious.

Alecsandru was not merely defined by his trade; he possessed an adventurous spirit that drove him to explore the world around him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Alexandra Ivanova; his ex-wife, Cornelia Nitu; his stepson Sebastian Stancu; loving daughter, Laura Rafferty, and son-in-law, Chris Rafferty; as well as his beloved grandchildren, Ariana and Caleb Rafferty. His sister, Roza Patrulescu, and brother-in-law, George Patrulescu, as well as his niece Roberta and grandnieces Mihaela and Nicole Patrulescu, and niece Mihaela Patrulescu, along with nephew Cristi Patrulescu, also hold dear the memories of his joyous spirit.
