Alexander James Graton, 45, died peacefully on April 13, 2025, at home in Bridgewater, New Hampshire surrounded by his loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 4,1980 in Plymouth, New Hampshire the son of Arnold Milton Graton Jr. of Northfield, NH and Holly A. French (Eagan) of Bridgewater, NH.

Alex was a 1999 graduate of Pemi-Baker Academy in Plymouth, New Hampshire. For most of his adult life he was a self-employed carpenter. Working on a variety of projects throughout New Hampshire including municipal buildings, private homes, and covered bridges. He was very creative and would get an idea and make something amazing. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, floating down the Pemi, camping, tinkering on projects, and hitting golf shots.

Alex is survived by his parents, Arnold (JR) Graton and his partner, Mary Baker of Northfield, and Holly French and her husband, Mark French of Bridgewater, his sister, Solena Sayer and her husband, Mark Sayer of El Dorado, Arkansas. Children Alexander J. Graton II, Anthony J Graton, Ivy Stebbins, Greydon Stebbins, Andrew W. Graton and Arora J. Graton and his granddaughter, Aeryn W. Graton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025, at the Bridgewater Town Hall at 297 NH 3A in Bridgewater, NH from 10:00AM to 2:00PM with a service beginning at 11:00 AM. We invite all of Alex’s friends and loved ones to attend.
