Alfred L. Luneau, 82, of Laconia, NH died of renal failure on March 8, 2004 at Lakes Region General Hospital. Mr. Luneau was born on March 9, 1921 in Franklin, NH, the son of the late Alfred and Lena (LaFlam) Luneau, Sr. Mr. Luneau attended High School in Meredith, NH and later attended Suffolk University in Boston. He was a US Army veteran who served WWII for five years in the Pacific Theatre. He retired as a managing partner with a financial services company with offices in North Carolina. He returned to New Hampshire and retired 1999. Family members include; two sons, and Alfred L. Luneau, Jr. of Meredith, NH, Marc Luneau of Beverly, MA; one daughter, Beverly Harlow of Danvers, MA; 5 grandchildren; three brothers, Bruce Luneau of Jackson, NH, John Luneau of Peabody, MA and Richard Luneau of Newmarket, NH; one sister, Ann Lapchick of Hilton Head, SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Wilda E. (Page) Luneau. He also leaves behind his companion and friend Daisy. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
