Alfred E. Rotondo

Alfred E. Rotondo, 73, of Milton died suddenly on December 25, 2002 at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover as a result of an automobile accident. Mr. Rotondo was born n April 23, 1929 in Lawrence, MA son of the late Thomas and Emelia (Gagnon) Rotondo. He graduated from Edward F. Searles High School in Methuen, MA in 1947. He was a US Navy Veteran and upon returning home he began working with his father on the family farm. He worked at Rotondo Farm Dairy in Methuen for 18 years and then began his career with the United States Postal Service. Mr. Rotondo worked as a supervisor at the North Chelmsford Branch for 20 years retiring in 1988. He was also a Mason and an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous in the Seacoast area as well as southern Maine. He was predeceased by his wife, Charline (Chable) Rotondo. Family members include; one son, David and his wife Mary Rotondo of North Attleboro, MA; two daughters, Patricia Rotondo of Walla Walla, WA and Sandra and her husband Jim Jenks of Plaistow, NH; four grandchildren, Steven McGibbon of Derry, Scott McGibbon of Plaistow, and Lisa Rotondo and Melissa Rotondo both of Lowell, MA; two sisters, Joan and her husband Russell Gebo of Windham, NH and Grace and her husband, Walter Soucy of Bradenton, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Per his wishes there will be no calling hours. A Remembrance will be held on January 5th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the American Legion in Milton.
