Alice I. Bennett

Alice I. Bennett, 82, of Rochester, NH died peacefully February 28, 2004 at Riverside Nursing Home in Dover following a brief illness. Mrs. Bennett was born on March 17, 1921 in Lynn, MA the daughter of the late Frederick and Adelaide (Wilson) Haydock. She was a loving homemaker and mother and will be missed greatly. She enjoyed sewing and knitting for her family as well as cooking. Family members include; her husband of 60 years, Gordon Bennett of Rochester; two daughters, Ann Laramie of Rochester and Ruth Dorrough of Canandaigua, NY; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Gaynor of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverside Resthome, 276 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820 or to Seacoast Hospice, 642 Central Ave, Dover, NH 03820. Services will be held in the spring.
