Alice Vivian (Dunton) Jacobs

Alice's life was given to mothering and being available to the needs of others, especially the young.  Beginning with her many younger siblings to her children, nephews, grandchildren, baby siting and 20+ years of teaching Sunday school children 3-4 years old and up.

     For over 40 years she has faithfully believed and followed her savior Jesus Christ, by His Word, His mission and in living life so as never to diminish His wonderfulness.

     Alice lived for her 91 years on the12 acre plot in Fitzwilliam, NH that belonged to her father and on which she and her husband Frank built a house and raised the family.  She was born in the family house, lived happily, and passed peacefully from there to the presence of the Lord.

     She is survived by her youngest son, Arthur Jacobs and his wife June, and her only daughter Donna and her husband Walter Bradley who lived with and cared for her through her later years.  Also her remaining siblings are Betty Kuchka, Anne Gravelle, and Vina Carter and her husband Greg as well as many nieces, nephews, grand children, great grand children and great great grand children.   

     She is pre-deceased by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Dunton, her husband of 39 years Francis B Jacobs Sr, two sons Francis B Jacobs Jr and Baby Boy (Alan) Jacobs, siblings Charlie, Irene, Arthur, Marshall, Stan, Helen, Walter, Patty, and Louie.  

     A Memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church 125 Goodell Ave of Swanzey, NH 03446 on 9/27/23 beginning at 11:00 AM.  The Memorial will be followed by light refreshments and foods.
