Alice Jeanette (Marcoux) Laliberte passed on July 21, 2026 quietly in her sleep. She was loved by everyone. Born September 3, 1929 she was the eldest daughter of four to the late Lucien Joseph Alfred Marcoux and Emilienne Gabrielle St.Pierre Marcoux. She was predeceased by her husband Martin Joseph Laliberte along with her brother George Marcoux, her sister Cecile Poirier and is survived by her sister Violet Deroo. She worked at JF McElwain in Manchester, where she met her future husband Martin Joseph Laliberte. After a first date at the Reeds Ferry Lone Star Ranch the rest is history. On a rainy May 1, 1948 she married Marty and moved to Auburn, NH. In addition to raising her family, she also worked for Laliberte Construction and Valley Street Variety alongside her husband. Alice had the deepest faith, she practiced her Catholic religion regularly, there’s a special place for her in heaven. She devoted her time to care for family members in need, as a daughter, sister, sister in law, wife and mother. As a Mother, she was loving, kind, and generous. Alice truly loved her family, her house was always full of family, food and laughter. In her younger years, her passion was figure skating. She performed in shows at the JFK Coliseum. She also enjoyed the lake, the beach, being outside, swimming, flowers and birds. Alice is survived by her large family of ten, Susan Laliberte of Greenwich, CT, Leonard Laliberte and wife Vikie of Manchester, NH, Raymond Laliberte and wife Donna of Candia, NH, Marian Abodeely and husband Ned of Nashua, NH, Annette Boisvert and husband Andy of Manchester, NH, Denis Laliberte of Sebastian, Florida, Daniel Laliberte of Northwood, NH, Gerard Laliberte and wife Candy of Center, Barnstead, NH, Michele (Laliberte) Tarrant of Hudson, NH, and Arline Tornberg and husband Gus of Moorestown, NJ, 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews to count and loved extended family Cathy Laliberte. Services: There are no calling hours. She’s going to make you all go to church. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 1, 2026 at St Peters Church, Auburn, NH, followed by a celebration of life at the Auburn Pitts. Burial will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester on Monday, August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations can be made to The Liberty House in Manchester or St. Jude’s in her name.
