Alice Rita Merrill

Alice Rita (Christian) Upham, Paine, Merrill of Nashua, 72, died December 16, 2002 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief illness. She was born September 5, 1930, daughter of the late Carl F. and Lillian E. (Decelle) Christian. She is survived by daughters Jo-Anne Greywacz, Rita Gravel, and Meloney Gabert of West Palm Beach, FL, and Tina Merrill of Port Charlotte FL; sons, Michael Paine of Pelham NH, and William Merrill Jr. of Palacttca FL; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley A. and Gerald Goulet of Tilton, NH, and Ms. Carole M. Christian of Nashua; a brother, Robert A. Christian of Dracut, MA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Josephine "Josie" Ellen Walsman. It being her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
