Alice Elizabeth (Huey) Plummer, 86, of 545 Elm Street in Milford died Monday, October 20, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Plummer was born on May 13, 1917 in Chelsea, MA the daughter of the late Bernard and Annie May (Lavoy) Huey. She attended local schools and the former Nashua Business College. She was a U S Army Veteran who served during World War II where she was stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea. Mrs. Plummer worked for the former Roy's Cleaners & Dion Cleaners for 25 years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Nashua. Family members include; her husband, William Plummer; a daughter and son-in-law, Raelene (Harris) and John Liljeberg of Nashua; three stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Clifford Stroncer of Englewood, FL, Dorothy Dahood of Zolfo Springs, FL, and Eleanor and Steven Lundy of Collegeville, PA; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Howard Harris in 1945 and by her second husband, William Bushby in 1973. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at 1:00 PM at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street in Nashua.
