Alma W. Garrison

Alma W. Garrison, 79, of 22 Summit Drive in Atkinson died on January 6, 2002 at Rockingham Nursing Home in Brentwood after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Garrison was born on November 27, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Nelson and Freida (Immel) Weaver. She was a patent secretary for Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was a skilled amateur artist and was well known for her porcelain dolls. Mrs. Garrison was a member of the Doll Artisan Guild. Family members include; her husband of 59 years, Richard F. Garrison; one son, Peter Garrison of Oakland, CA; two daughters, Elise McKay of Epping, NH and Laura Sadri of Queen Creek, AZ; and one granddaughter, Allison McKay. A Memorial Reception will be held on Wednesday, January 9th from 3:00 until 4:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home), 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH.
