Alphonse G. Boudreau, 60, of 169 Blucher Street, Manchester died on March 18, 2000 at Elliot Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Boudreau was born on September 20, 1939, the son of the late Lucille Martel. He was a U S Veteran who served in the Army. He was employed as a custodian by Pepsi Cola in Manchester for seven years. He had also worked for Queen City Shoe as a lining cutter for many years. Mr. Boudreau loved nature and was heavily involved with recycling and issues regarding ecology. He had a fondness for cats. Family members include: his wife of 35 years, Anne L. (Maurice) Boudreau; one daughter, Mrs. Peter (Lucille) Wenzel of Concord, NH; one brother, Andre Boudreau of Manchester and one sister, Mrs. Theresa Gilcreast of Nashua; numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Reception at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire Chapel, (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home) 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, on Saturday, March 27, 2000 from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:30 PM.
