He was born on November 2, 1937 in Varana, Lithuania, son of Joseph Palevicius and Mary Palevicius (Maksalla). He came to the U.S. after WWII, with his parents. They made their new home in Nashua, N.H., later settling in Hudson N.H. This is where he lovingly raised his four children and cared for his parents. Al moved back to Nashua where he lived out his last years enjoying his times with family, and the view of the river.
Al was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1956. He continued his education at Bentley College, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He started his profession in banking before finding his career at WR Grace Nashua, N.H., as Production and Transportation Manager, for 30 plus years.
Al’s enjoyments in life were golfing, spending time with family, good food, and old westerns. He had a smile that would light up a room, which will be missed. Al was also an active parishioner at St. Casimir’s Church in Nashua, N.H, until its closing.
Al is survived by his daughter, Laura Grygiel & son-in-law Jeffery Grygiel; daughter, Lynn Marshall & son-in-law Robert Marshall; his son, Tony Palevicius, and daughter, Sharon Palevicius & son-in-law Shayne Lavoie.
