Alvin ''Al'' Dionne, 58, of Hudson and Gilmanton Iron Works died Sunday, May 5, 2002 at his home in Gilmanton Iron Works surrounded by family. Mr. Dionne was born on May 19, 1943 in Nashua, NH the son of the late Elvin Dionne and Madeline (Bosley-Dionne) Moreau of Nashua. He spent most of his life in Nashua before moving to Hudson five years ago. He owned and operated Granite State Vending, Inc. in Hudson for 25 years. After retiring in February he and his wife moved to Gilmanton Iron Works. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and archery. Mr. Dionne was a member of the Cowboy SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) Group #41538. Family members include; his wife of 38 years, Lois (Hayes) Dionne; one son, Michael Dionne of Merrimack; two daughters, Mrs. John (Lisa) Lillis of Merrimack and Mrs. Scott (Wendy) Lambert of Hudson; his mother; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Dionne and Arthur Dionne both of Nashua; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Moore. A Memorial Mass will he held on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Barnstead.
