Amanda Lee Fellows

Amanda Lee Fellows passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 34 after a long battle with addiction. Amanda had a big heart and was a deeply devoted daughter sister and friend.  She loved all animals (especially dogs) and was as stubborn as they came :o)

Amanda was raised in Nashua/Hudson by her mother, Shirley Philbrook and her father, John Fellows, who passed away in May, 2015. Her childhood was filled with lots of love and she was always surrounded by family and friends. She shared a special bond with her Godmother (Sherry Duhamel), and prior to her addiction, the two spent lots of time together. During her teenage and young adult years, Amanda enjoyed visiting her sisters (Marlena Giammichele, Jane Hartsock and Charlene Fellows) and their families in New York.

Amanda found love once and gave birth to two beautiful little boys. She tried so hard to get clean for them and to be a good mother, but her demons had too strong of a hold on her and she was unable to stay away from the drugs. She eventually gave her boys up for adoption, which broke her heart in a million pieces, but she did it anyway so they could have a better life. 

Our family chose to share Amanda’s struggles with everyone in the hopes that maybe her story could help even one person facing the same challenges. Her memory will not be defined by her addition though, because she was so much more than that…she was a beautiful woman with a great big heart and an infectious smile that was taken from this world much too soon.  Although she was not strong enough to overcome her addiction, she will always be loved and missed by those who knew her.

There are no services planned at this time, however, a celebration of life will be held by her family in the coming months. We will post the invitation on her Facebook page for family and friends to attend.
