Andrew J. Drohen, 81, of Derry died March 10, 2003 at Integrated Health Services in Derry following a lengthy illness. Mr. Drohen was born on July 25, 1921 in Brookline, MA, son of Andrew and Elsie (Shea) Drohen. He graduated from Brookline High School and immediately joined the U S Army. He was an artillery officer during World War II and was stationed in the South Pacific from 1942 until 1946. He continued in the Army Reserve until 1982 when he retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a manager of Woolworth's in Marlboro, MA for several years and then was a salesman for a large New York hobbies and toy company working in the New England Region. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Theresa (Choquette) Drohen; his children; Gail O'Connor of Enfield, CT, James Drohen of Haverhill, MA. Richard Drohen of Wendell, MA, Edward Drohen of Raymond, NH and Sandra-ann T. Drohen of Derry, NH; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and two cousins. A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 435 Mammoth Road in Londonderry. There are no calling hours.
