BEDFORD, New Hamp. -- Ann E. Gafford, 73, formerly of Salina, KS, died Sunday, November 26. She was born August 8, 1944 in Wichita, KS to Robert and Doris (Miller) Brewer. A graduate of Arkansas City High School and Pittsburgh State University, she married Wendell P. Gafford in August 1964. A teacher, homemaker and medical billing office manager, she was active in the Salina community for 40 years before moving away in 2013.
Her parents and her husband of 47 years precede her in death.
She is survived by son Philip (Rebecca) Gafford and their children Ava, Jackson, and Scott of Lima, OH; son Stephan (Laura Leslie) Gafford and their children Acadia, August and Arden of Raymond, NH; brother Bill Brewer of Rowlett, TX; sisters Elaine Vashey of Topeka, KS and Nancy Hillyer of Aurora, CO.
She wished to be cremated. A celebration of life ceremony is being planned to occur in Salina in the spring.
