Ann R. Gagnon, 92 of Somersworth New Hampshire, passed peacefully early Sunday morning, June 14, 2026, at her home in Somersworth. Ann was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, August 2, 1933, the daughter of Anna and Theodore Filion.

Ann dedicated her life to her greatest calling — raising her beautiful family. As a mother to nine children, she was the heart of her home, and her love, sacrifice, and strength shaped all generations that followed. She enjoyed family get togethers, holidays, playing bingo, and crafts.

Ann was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, George J. Gagnon (2013); her infant daughter, Theresa (1956); her parents, Anna (Caouette) and Theodore Filion; and her siblings, Rhea Hamel and Theodore Filion.

She is survived by her sons, George, Jr. "Chuck" of Virginia, Marc and Frances of Michigan, Dan of Rochester, and Tom and Karen of Somersworth, her daughters, Diane Roderick of Portsmouth, Denise and Bud Jones of Rochester, Claire and Paul Hackworth of Somersworth, and Lori and Dave Levesque of Milton. She will be greatly missed by her 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Thank you for the beautiful legacy you've left behind. You will be missed.

Arrangements: The Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, St. Martin Church, in Somersworth, followed immediately by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A gathering and meal will follow downstairs in the church hall.
