Ann Folsom Prudden, 77, of Pleasant Street in Concord died on May 23, 2000 at Odd Fellows Home after a brief illness. Mrs. Prudden was born on May 27, 1922 in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Rufus and Marjorie (Chapin) Folsom. She grew up in Hingham, MA and attended Derby Academy and later graduated from Milton Academy in 1940. During WW II she was a nurses aide in Boston and for the Bridgewater State Prison. Mrs. Prudden was an administrative assistant for the Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul's School and later worked in customer service for Yankee Book Peddler in Contoocook. She then worked as a legal assistant for Ransmeier Spellman in Concord. She was a member of the Junior Service League in Concord. She was active in the Hopkinton Town Precinct and a member of the Hopkinton Antiquarian Society. Family members include; one son, Stephen Prudden of Woody Creek, CO; one daughter, Lee Prudden Wells of Southborough, MA; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Converse Prudden, in 1977. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2000 at St. Andrew's Church in Hopkinton at 2:00 PM.
