Ann L. (Morrow) Reardon passed away peacefully in Concord, NH on December 2, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Born on June 26, 1934, in Derry, NH, she is the daughter of George W.& Lillian E. (Brown) Morrow.
Ann was raised in Salem, NH and North Chelmsford, MA. Upon graduating from Chelmsford HS in 1952, she worked as a dental assistant for Drs. Kenneth Cooke and Charles Yarid.
In 1955, Ann moved to Nabnasset, MA with her young family and began a new career as an executive assistant at the Murray Printing Company in Forge Village, while furthering her education at Northeastern University. In 1975, Ann married the love of her life, Daniel “DJ” Reardon and returned to Chelmsford with their family. Ann and Dan eventually retired to West Alton, NH making their home on Lake Winnipesaukee in 1989.
If you were to ask Ann, her greatest joy was spending time in the company of family and friends. The light of her life being her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Grandy”.
Ann was a kind and caring woman who enjoyed gardening, quilting, traveling the world with Dan, shoes (oh how she loved shoes), looking at lakefront real estate from her jet ski, her Talbots credit card and a cold Budweiser with her pizza. She was a passionate Boston Sports fan… especially her Boston Red Sox. Ann and Dan wintered in Naples, Florida where, she and Dan held season tickets to Spring training for 16 years.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Dan, and her beloved son, Duane G. MacDonald.
Ann is survived by her children, Deborah (MacDonald) Jadczak of Concord, NH, Jill E. Metz of Oviedo, FL, Douglas W. (Dianne) MacDonald of Norway, ME and Gregg E. (Karen) Reardon of Lowell, MA; her grandchildren, Jason D. MacDonald, Jessica Ramsay, Tucker D. Jadczak, Samantha, Brittany, Harry and Elizabeth Reardon and Zach and Jeff Metz; and her great-grandchildren, Caleb, McKinley, Graham and Rhys.
Ann is also survived by her dear sister, Katherine Stidsen of Hingham, MA; her brother, Warren “Pete” (Claudia) Morrow of Bow, NH; and her sister-in-law, Martha (Rick) Hanson of Hollis, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: At Ann's request services will be private. Ann’s family would like to thank the entire staff at Havenwood Heritage Heights and Amedisys Hospice for their compassionate and loving care given to Mum. One of Ann's caring qualities was helping those less fortunate, for those wishing to remember Ann her family requests you consider donating to your local food pantry.
