Anne Louise (Maurice) Boudreau, 72, of Manchester, passed away at her residence on August 17, 2017.
She was born in Pittsfield on September 5, 1944, the daughter of Fred L. and Eva L. (French) Maurice, grew up in Hooksett, and spent most of her adult life in Manchester. She was a graduate of Central High School, Manchester and
worked various jobs throughout Manchester, namely as a stitcher, until finding her true calling as a CNA working at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, West Congregation. She spoke American Sign Language, was an avid reader, enthusiastic crafter and word game connoisseur. She attended the Easter Seals Adult Day Care program twice weekly for several years. A friend to all, she was known for her compassionate heart and willingness to lend a hand or just an ear for those in need. She was also a passionate cat lover and supporter of US veterans. She was the widow of Alphonse G. Boudreau who died in 2000
Family members include her daughter Lucille S. Wenzel and husband, Peter J. of Concord; three brothers, Thomas Maurice and his life companion, Phyllis Tower of NH; Steven Maurice and his wife, Loreen, of MN; and Lawrence Maurice and his wife, Elaine, of NH; a brother-in-law, Andre Boudreau and his life companion, Claire Boucher, of NH; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial gathering will take place at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday from 11:00 AM to Noon with a service to follow in Cremation Society chapel at Noon.
