Anne Tooker Pullen, 88, of Concord, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at Epsom Health Care Center.

Anne was born on September 1, 1937, in Jackson Heights, New York. She was raised a devout Catholic and attended The Mary Louis Academy and Marymount College and received her master’s degree from Regis University. Anne began her career as a schoolteacher before dedicating herself to raising her family. She later served as a director of religious education and pastoral associate and eventually founded her own consulting business specializing in family ministry.

Anne shared 50 years of marriage with the love of her life, E. Markey “Pat” Pullen, until his passing in 2011. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. Anne was predeceased by her daughters, Suzanne, and Denise along with her parents Gershom and Anne (Robinson)Tooker, brother Charles Tooker, and sister Margaret Mary Kane.

She is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife Suzanne of Fairfield, Connecticut, and Christopher and his wife Anne of Charleston, South Carolina.

Anne was a proud and loving Nana to Nicholas, Kaitlin, Michelle, Emily, Claire, Jennifer, Megan, and Matthew, and a delighted great-grandmother to Maisie, Noah, Athena, and Sophia.

Anne will be remembered for her deep faith, her tireless devotion to family and friends, and her generous spirit. As a mother, she was strong, caring, and blessed with an enthusiastic sense of humor. While she held strong convictions, she was always open to listening and engaging thoughtfully with others’ perspectives. Anne especially loved time spent with her family, lively conversations around the table, and celebrating holidays together.

For many years, Anne and Pat were active in Marriage Encounter, serving as team leaders. Their spirit of service extended further as they volunteered at the New Hampshire State Prison and supported Kairos Prison Ministries, reflecting their shared commitment to ministry and service.

In remembrance of Anne and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Epsom Health Care Center in Epsom, N.H., Voice of the Faithful, or to local food pantries.

With great gratitude, the family thanks the staff of Epsom Health Care Center for their compassionate and dignified care and the Bayada Hospice Care staff who were so supportive. Additionally, they would like to show their appreciation for Mercedes Cernuda of New Hampshire Care Collaborative for all her guidance, support, and kindness these past few years.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. on Thursday, March 26th from 11:00am – 1:00pm. A private burial will take place on Friday, March 27th at 11:00am at Valley Cemetery on Mascoma Street in Lebanon, N.H.

Anne’s family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she loved and now rests in God’s peace.
