Anne M. (Nichols) Scarborough, 74, of Pinardville, NH, passed away on April 25th 2026, after a long battle with COPD. Anne was born on June 21, 1951 at Notre Dame Hospital in Manchester, NH. Daughter of the late Marie I. and  Arthur R. Nichols. Anne attended Exeter High School, graduating in 1969. She then attended and graduated from White Pines College with an Associate’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology. Anne worked in the insurance field for 49 years, and retired from Cross Insurance in 2022 after working there for 15 years. 

Anne was married to Robert for 48 years. They were each other’s best friends, and they were always there for one another. They enjoyed long drives along the coast, dinner dates, and spending quality time together. Anne also loved spending time with her daughter, Heather and her family. She loved cheering her granddaughters, Avery and Makayla on at soccer games, and hearing all about what was going on in their lives. Anne loved life and loved being with friends and family. Her laugh would fill a room, and her tight hugs were the best. 

Anne is survived by her husband, Robert Scarborough, her daughter, Heather Pellerin (Dana), her step son, Christopher Scarborough (Darla), her grandchildren Makayla, Avery, Lexi, Austin, and Lauren, her sister in law, Annette Foskin, her nieces Brenda, Lisa, Renee, and Lisa. 

Anne wanted a Celebration of her life, she wanted people to be happy when thinking of her, not sad. A gathering with friends and family will be planned at a later date.
