Anthony “Tony” A. Bilodeau of Allenstown passed away on May 23, 2026 following a brief illness.

He was born on March 24, 1941, in Armagh, PQ to Romeo and Albertine (Lemieux) Bilodeau. At the age of 13, speaking only French, Tony moved with his family to begin their new lives in the United States.

Tony was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1959. While still a Canadian citizen, he proudly and honorably served in active duty in the United States Army from July 1959 – 1963. Prior to discharge, he was granted his U.S. Citizenship in Denver, CO.

On October 15, 1966, he married the love of his life, Barbara Nelson of Littleton. They settled in Allenstown, where they raised their daughters: Marcia (Bilodeau) Clark and Andrea Bilodeau.

For nearly 30 years he worked in various aspects of beer distribution. Throughout his retirement, Tony worked tirelessly restoring old steamer trunks for family members, friends and many others that heard of his talents. He will be fondly remembered for his surprising depth of knowledge of US History, coins, stamps, beer memorabilia and his many other collections about which he loved to talk.

Tony is survived by Barbara, his wife of nearly 60 years; his two daughters, Marcia Clark (Todd) of Contoocook and Andrea Bilodeau of Allenstown; his much-loved granddaughters; Madison & Taylor Clark and twins, Abigail & Elizabeth Duchesne; two brothers, Andrew Bilodeau (Joanne) of Hooksett and Richard Bilodeau (Sherri) of Concord; two sisters, Denise Cameron of Concord and Martha Robie (Wayne) of Allenstown; and several nieces and nephews and special lifelong friends.
