Anthony Raymond Marcotte

Anthony, loving husband, best friend and brother, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 66 following a swift but courageous battle with adult polyglucosan body disease-a rare and incurable genetic condition. Guided by faith and fueled by laughter, Anthony’s love for God and others lit up every room he entered.

Born on January 5, 1959, in Manchester, NH, Anthony lived a life defined by resilience, authenticity and humor. He dedicated over 31 years to his craft as a drywaller and metal stud framer, quickly earning the respect of coworkers and friends with his skilled hands and strong work ethic.

In 2012, after receiving a heart transplant, Anthony gave back with humility and purpose. He volunteered with New England Donor Services, driven by a deep desire to help others and to pay forward the second chance he had been given.

At the center of his life, he was survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Tina Louise Marcotte (Young), with whom he shared over 35 years of marriage (married on September 30, 1989) and more than 41 years of love, laughter and unwavering companionship. Together, they built a life filled with joy and deep friendship in Concord, NH.

Anthony found freedom and peace on his Harley Davidson, the open road beneath him, and nature all around him. He cherished the serenity of the lakes, the strength of the mountains, and the escape of camping trips and get-a-ways. He enjoyed music-especially rock- was a constant in his life, and he loved attending concerts. He was passionate about hunting and found solace in the woods.

His animals were not just pets, but treasured family. He was predeceased by his loyal dogs: Morroco, Soughegan, Saquoyah and Sage, and his 5 cherished cats: Spaz, Keisha, Oppy , Otis and Sasha. They all held a piece of his heart. He is survived by his 2 cats, Pepper and Luca.

Anthony is predeceased by his loving parents, Marcel and Rita Marcotte (Baril), his sisters Estelle Marcotte, Elaine Allard and her husband Marcel all whom he held close to his heart.

He is survived by his brother Thomas Marcotte and his wife Lise, his sister Diane Warren and her husband Michael. He also leaves behind his three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Hendrickson, Theresa Langevin and her husband Kevin, Christina Young and his brother-in-law Brian Young, and his wife Becky, and many nieces and nephews.

Known for his razor-sharp wit, Anthony could light up any room. He was quite the jokester, and he was the funniest person HE knew. His legacy is one of deep love, contagious laughter, and quiet courage. He gave freely, loved fiercely, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

In lieu of flowers the family invites donations to further research for adult polyglucosan body disease in Anthony’s memory: www.apbdr.org

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
