Arlene J. Miele

Arlene Joanne Miele, 66, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH after a 5 year battle with cancer. Born on July 28, 1951 in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of John and Eleanor Miele of Salem, NH.

Raised and educated in Salem, she was a graduate of Salem High School class of 1971. After high school, she decided to live overseas for a while and moved to Japan. After returning she worked at Western Electric until she decided to get her cosmetology license and began her new career in fashion. By 1986 she was ready for another change so she packed up and moved to San Diego, CA where she lived until recently moving back to NH to be close to her family and help take care of her elderly mom. Arlene was a very gentle soul and lover of all animals small and large, but was very fond of cats and would gladly adopt any stray cat that needed help.

Arlene will be forever loved and remembered by her mother Eleanor Miele, two sisters Michelle McManus and Diane Bohnwagner, her brother John Miele and the many people whose hearts she touched.
