Arlene Lee Smith

Arlene ''Lee'' Smith, 66 of 732 Concord Stage Road, Weare died on November 28, 2000 at Hospice House in Concord after a lengthy illness. Ms. Smith was born in Manchester, NH on June 22, 1934, the daughter of the late Roy L. and Geri (Gagnon) Johnson. She attended St. Joseph and Central High Schools. She had been a Weare resident for 16 years moving here from Florida. Family members include; three sons, Randy Smith of Milford, NH, Rick Smith of Glen, NH and Kenneth Smith of Suncook; four daughters, Emily Scott of Bristol, CT, Linda Holbrook of West Swanzey, NH, Tammy Earthly of Houston, TX and Kelly Medford of North Carolina; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Johnson of Trinity, North Carolina and Roy E. Johnson of Canterbury, NH; and two sisters, Carol Townes of Weare, NH and Ginger Johnson of Punta Gorda, FL. At her request there will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Sugar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Concord Hospice House, 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
