Arlene Garey Tyler, 92, of Nashua, N.H. passed away on September 23, 2023 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H. after a brief illness.
She was born in Sumner, Maine, daughter of Elden and Annie Garey. She was the loving wife of Stanley H. Tyler for 64 years until his death in 2014.
Arlene worked for 25 years as a medical secretary/assistant to Dr. Frank Gaimari until his retirement. She was an avid league 10 pin bowler for 50+ years where she made many lifelong friends. Her other passions included shopping, yard sales with her daughter Judy every Saturday and she was a devoted Red Sox fan.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Albert Kilgore, with whom she made her home for the last 5 years, and Laurie and Rick Bloomfield of Georgia. Her 6 grandchildren, Kevin and Amy Kilgore, Jeffrey and Mandy Kilgore, Jason and Amanda Tyler, Travis and Jennifer Tyler, Kelsey Gibson and Kayla Tyler, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves some very special friends, Cindy (Pinta) Miner, Karen Banker, Jeanne
Carbonneau, Marion Morris and Evelyn Petrain.
She was predeceased by her husband Stan, her only son Larry Tyler and by her only sibling, Elizabeth Stevens.
A private graveside service for family will be held on October 14th, to be followed by a Celebration of Life for all who wish to attend at her daughters home at 43 West Glenwood St., Nashua, NH, from 2pm-4pm.
