Arthur Sweatt, age 91, passed away on February 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that was as layered and human as the life he lived. Though our relationship with him was complicated at times, it was also filled with moments of genuine connection, laughter, and memories that we will always carry with us.

Arthur was born July 4, 1934, in Dover, New Hampshire. He was the only child born to Raymond Sweatt (deceased) and Louise Sweatt (deceased). He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Paula Timmons; stepchildren, Kevin (Karen) Timmons, Brian (Kyong Hui) Timmons, Kathleen (Larry) Paine, and Julie Meyer; grandchildren, Eli (Erika), Jessica, Christina (Adam), Peter (Sarah), Dan, Brittany (David), Ryan, Krista, and Timothy; and great-grandchildren, Molly, Jakob, Maddox, Payton, Daniel, Mila, Micah, Michael, Alayah, and Laney.

While the paths between us were not always smooth, the love was real, and the memories—both the easy and the complicated—remain part of the story we honor today.

As we say goodbye, we strive to remember the good: the warmth in his smiles, the lessons learned through both closeness and distance, and the pieces of him that live on in the people who knew him.

May he rest in peace and may those who loved him find comfort in the memories that endure.
