Arthur H. Tovey

Arthur H. Tovey, 72, of Amherst died April 10, 2003 at Community Hospice in Merrimack following a brief illness. Mr. Tovey was born on April 7, 1931 in Byfleet, Surrey, England the son of the late Horace R. and Edith A. (Dale) Tovey. He had been a resident of Amherst for the last 36 years. He retired in 1991 from Ferd Corporation in Nashua where he had worked for over 25 years. He worked for Manchester Security for over 15 years and for the past five years he was employed with Reliable Security of Salem where he most recently was a security supervisor at the Manchester Airport. Family members include; his wife of 43 years, Marion J. (Beamish) Tovey; one son, Darren Tovey of Amherst; and several nieces and nephews of England. Services will take place at a later date in England. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
