Audrey S. Moore

Audrey Shirley Moore, 91, of Pittsfield died November 11, 2022, after a period in nursing care and Hospice.

Audrey was born in Worcester, MA, on Feb 18, 1931, to Ruth Harrison Lundstrom and Albert Lundstrom, and grew up in Millbury, MA, with 3 siblings, Gladys, Robert and Nancy.  She married Robert Walter Moore of Boylston, MA.  They lived in Clinton, MA, until 1976 when they moved to Pittsfield, NH.  Daughter Beverly and son Donald attended Clinton schools and were active in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and other activities through their teen years.

Audrey was active in community and church, always providing help to make events and ongoing activities successful.  She was part of the Pittsfield First Congregational Church, Women of Rotary and helped with many of the Balloon Rallies, Old Home Days, and Annual church fairs.  Most Sundays would find her helping in the church kitchens or acting as usher or in the choir.  After Robert passed in 1996, she remained a regular participant and lived quietly on Tilton Hill.

She is survived by sister Nancy and son Donald, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and their children.

No formal services will be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be held after this season’s holidays, as she would wish everyone to enjoy good family time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Epiphany.

Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the First Congregational Church of Pittsfield in lieu of flowers.
