Aurore J. Walsh

Aurorae (Aura) Jeanne Compagna Walsh, 84, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away surrounded by her family on December 30, 2017 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH.

She was born in Manchester on May 12,1933, the daughter of Joseph and Angeline (Sevigny) Compagna. She grew up in the Queen City.

Aura is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Angeline, as well as her siblings Robert Compagna, Anita Compagna Staples, Estelle Compagna Tessier, Raoul (Ralph) Compagna, and Marcel Compagna.

Aura is survived by her three loving daughters: Debra Walsh Nutter and her husband Richard of Dover NH, Pamela Walsh Blais and her husband Maurice of Errol, NH and Robin Walsh Towsley and her husband Dana of Boscawen, NH. Her siblings: Andre Compagna, Irene Compagna Egan and Cecile Compagna Sullivan, as well as 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She raised her children in Exeter and then moved to Cape Coral, FL in 1984 where she lived until moving to Boscawen 3 years ago. Aura lived with her daughter Robin before becoming ill. While in Florida she enjoyed bowling, collecting shells, playing bingo, and dancing to her nephew's band at various locales all with her sisters and her longtime companion Gene Magnetti.

Family and friends are invited to gather Monday, January 8th 11:00am-12:00pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Memorial service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel.
