Barbara Baker

Barbara Ellen (McKeon) Baker, 77, died July 5, 2021 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.

Born in Chicago, IL to the late Henry P. McKeon and Evelyn (Ellis) McKeon. She was the oldest of two children and completed nursing school after finishing High School. She was a Registered Nurse in the State of IL until 1978. With her late husband Ken, she raised her family in Illinois before settling together in Derry, New Hampshire in 1982. In the early 80's she became a Jewelry Sales and Fine Art Consultant until her retirement in 2006. She thoroughly enjoyed bringing her positive outlook and laughter to everyone she encountered.

She loved interior decorating, holidays with family and friends, playing cards, painting on various mediums, and was an avid shopper, often referring to herself as having 'a black-belt in the art of shopping'.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, Ken, Randy, and Greg; sister, Kathleen (McKeon) Badal; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

SERVICES: No formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers her family requests donations in memory of Barbara E Baker be made to: American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6 Waltham, MA 02451.
