Barbara (Duffney) Cash

Barbara (Duffney) Cash 73, passed away peacefully at home with her family on July 8th after a long illness. Barbara was born on April 26th 1945 in Providence, RI to Elmer and Valentine Duffney of Smithfield, RI. Barbara was the general manager of a screw machine shop for 28 years. She loved bird watching, gardening, photography, cooking, camping and fishing. She also told wonderful life stories. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband John P. Cash of Washington, and her brother Norman Duffney of Smithfield, RI. She leaves a daughter, Debra Almeida of Washington, a son Richard Rathbun of Anaheim, CA, a son-in-law Michael Almeida of Washington, a furbaby named Baby, and a grandfurbaby named Skye. She also leaves two wonderful doctors that took the best care of her throughout her illness that cannot be forgotten, Dr. Timothy Wolfe of Washington, and Tamsen Howes PA of Newport. There will be no services, burial will be private. Please make a donation to the NH Audubon society at nhaudubon.org in Barbara's name in lieu of flowers.
