Barbara M (Stanford) Dyer

Barbara was born on November 25, 1935 and passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016.

Barbara had Alzheimers for the past 9 years, she passed away peacefully with family by her side.

Longtime resident of Somerville, Massachusetts.

Retired from her job at Somerville City Hall as an office clerk.

Wife of the late Walter S. Dyer, and Mother to the late Laurie J. (Dyer) Offner.

Survived by her three children Linda A. (Dyer) Eddy, Son in law, Randy of Winchester, N. H., Glen S. Dyer, Daughter in law, Ginger of Escondido, CA., and Shirley L. (Dyer) Svizzero, Son in law, John of Temecula, CA.

Also survived by her ten grandchildren: Jennifer Eddy, Leanne Eddy, Kellie Eddy, Amanda (Eddy) Jones, Amy Eddy, Scott Eddy, Scott Dyer, Kevin Dyer, Matthew Svizzero, and Derek Svizzero.

Barbara also had 4 Great grandchildren: Serenity, Dresden, Briaunna and Brayden.

Sister of the late George Stanford, the late Ronald Stanford, the late Frances Elliott, and the late Eleanor Mercer.
Survived by brothers, Stretch (Clarence), Norman and Allan Stanford

Barbara has MANY nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

There will be a graveside service at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake Street, in Peabody, MA, on April 16th, 2016 at 11:30 AM.
There will be a Celebration of Life following the service at the VFW, 20 Steven St., Peabody, MA
