Barbara P. Jacome

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our amazing mother, Barbara P. Jacome, 98. She passed peacefully at her home in Windham, NH on April 8th. 

She is survived by her children, Deborah Jacome (Frank), Gary Jacome (Cindy), Jan Jacome (Linda) and Terry Jacome, as well as, three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

BJ, as she was known to friends, came from humble beginnings in Clarksville, NH and lived and raised her family in Connecticut. She was a passionate traveler and ventured off on trips ranging from Mexico to Europe. Always a music aficionado, she played her baby grand piano, sang, and loved to have friends join in. BJ loved to create menus and with impeccable style hosted gatherings of family and friends. She started a chocolate company, Barbara’s Chocolates, and made custom creations that she sold and gifted. An avid reader until her sight was compromised, she loved to discuss books with family and friends. BJ’s quotes and words of wisdom offered insight on all aspects of life and will live in the hearts of those lucky enough to hear them.

The family would like to thank Amy McNair for her devoted companionship and generosity the last two years.
