Barbara (Snitko) LaMorey

Barbara Jane LaMorey, 59 of Franklin passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 after a short struggle with cancer.

Barbara was born to Daniel and Mary Snitko in Natick, MA on October 18, 1956. She was married to Allen LaMorey and spent most of her life raising and homeschooling their seven children. In 2012 she began working at Meals on Wheels; she brought joy to all her clients and coworkers alike during her employment there. Barb was known for her love for the Lord and people and she will be dearly missed. All her friends and family knew Barbara for her joyful, generous spirit and her love for singing.

Barbara is survived by her loving brother Richard Snitko and his wife Audrey and their six children and 23 grandchildren, sister Kathy Marshall and her husband Steven, as well as her husband Allen LaMorey and her seven children; Joshua David, Amy Jane, Sarah Joy, Nathan Allan, Jacob Daniel, Jeremiah Richard and Samuel William. Barbara leaves behind three darling grandchildren; Shiloh, Stephen Jr and Josiah Nsengiyumva; children of Amy and Stephen Nsengiyumva.
