Barbara Mae Sirois

Barbara Mae Sirois passed away peacefully on October 31, after a brief illness at Elliot hospital.  She was born in Portsmouth NH on September 8,1947 to Joseph Albert Sirois and Helen Mary (Gagnon) Sirois, she was one of 5 children. Barbara came to Manchester where she spent her last 34 years.

Barbara was preceded by her parents and her two sisters, Marge Roberts and Theresa Cornell, and her two brothers, Denis and David. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  

She enjoyed attending the Moore Center Dances, where she was known as a social butterfly. She also belonged to Ray’s Rollers Bowling League and attended many Special Olympic Events, always winning a medal or ribbon. She also enjoyed horseback riding at UpReach. She was also a member of the Rising Stars. 

Her favorite thing to do was traveling. She went to Hershey PA, Nashville TN, Niagara Falls, Canada, and she even took a cruise to Bermuda.  When she was at home, she loved knitting and making crafts that she would give away. Always making others smile. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rising Stars, c/o Moore Center Services.

A gravesite gathering of family and friends will be held on November 10, 2023, at 11am at St Hedwig Cemetery in Bedford. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire has been entrusted with arrangements.
