Barbara Ellen Smith

Barbara E. Smith, 73, of Framingham, MA died on July 24, 2000 at Lakes Region Hospital in Laconia, NH. Mrs. Smith was born on March 6, 1927 in Boston, MA the daughter of the late John and Norma (Burke) Maguire. She was a medical secretary for Massachusetts General Hospital for 20 years and then worked at Filenes in Framingham, MA. Mrs. Smith was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her cottage at Weirs Beach. Family members include; two daughters, Linda Parker of Silver Spring, MD and Ellen Johnson of Drakut, MA; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to offer prayers and condolences at a memorial gathering arranged through Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Avenue, Framingham, Ma.on Tuesday, August 1st from 5 to 8 PM at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Framingham Union Aid Associations, Inc.(please specify donation to be directed to the Cancer Program) c/o Anita Mulcahey, 99 Lincoln Street, Framingham, Ma. 01702. Burial will be private.
