Barbara F. Sullivan, 47, of 415 Nashua Street in Milford, died August 3, 2003 at St. Joseph Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sullivan was born on February 25, 1956 the daughter of Robert and Frances (Castillo) Cherney. She was born, raised and educated in Burbank, CA where she met, Sean Sullivan, whom she later married. The couple moved to Nashua, NH in 1979. In her earlier years Barbara was a volunteer for local schools in Nashua and for Memorial Hospital. She was also very active with the YMCA Swim Team in Nashua. Barbara later worked at Nashua Swim & Tennis and at Brooks Pharmacy in Milford. Family members include; her husband of 24 years, Sean Sullivan; two sons, Corey and Eric of Milford; and a daughter, Ashley of Milford; her father of Burbank, CA; four brothers, John and his wife, Darlene Cherney of Gallup, NM, James Cherney of Saugus, CA, Richard and his wife (Carol) of Costa Mesa, CA and Ray and his wife Michelle of Burbank, CA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Frank Cherney. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 9th at 10:30 AM at St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street in Nashua with interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Derry Road in Hudson. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Salvation Army, 1 Montgomery Avenue, Nashua, NH 03060.
