Barbara passed away on March 29th surrounded by family after a period of declining health. Barbara was born August 16, 1959, in Concord, the daughter of Ernest and Pauline Croteau. A graduate of Concord High Class of 1977, Barbara met her soul mate and best friend, Brian Vassillion, while attending Rundlett Junior High and were inseparable ever since. They would have celebrated 50 years together in October.
Barbara dedicated her life to bringing joy and laughter to others, especially at work, first with her father at C.E. Wilbers, then later at Washington Street Café, Cindy Ann Cleaners and In-a-Pinch Café. Barbara was known widely for her kindness, infectious smile and her contagious laughter. She also dedicated many years of her life to her three children as a stay-at-home mother.
Barbara leaves behind her husband and partner of 50 years, Brian. She also leaves behind her three children, Jason Vassillion and his fiancé Samantha Ward, daughter Brianna Vassillion Beaulac and her husband Craig Beaulac, and daughter Christina Vassillion. She also leaves behind her beloved Croteau siblings and she was pre-deceased by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held on April 16th at 1pm at the Sno-Shakers Club in Canterbury. All friends, family and those that Barbara touched are welcome.
