Beatrice Ann Ramsey

Beatrice Ann (Frederickson) Ramsey, age 92, died September25, 2022 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, New Hampshire. She was born on October 19, 1929, in Milford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Conrad and Jeanne Beatrice (Mather) Frederickson. Ann married Ronald R. Ramsey on June 21, 1952, in Franklin, Massachusetts and raised their family. In 1982 they built their new home in Jay, Maine and spent their later years there. After Ron’s passing, Ann moved to Concord in 2013 to be closer to her daughters.

Ann attended Franklin public schools and the School of Practical Art in Boston and held several jobs using her wide variety of artistic skills. A good friend to many, Ann loved camping, gardening, reading and the Boston Red Sox.  She was a member of Franklin United Methodist Church and Wesley United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Ron, and son, Ronald R. Ramsey, Jr., sister, Jean Barnes, and brother-in-law Harold Barnes, and is survived by her daughters, Ruth D. Engel (Peter), Jean E. Tower (John), and son Roy C. Ramsey. Ann is also survived by her ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a niece and two nephews, and her cousin Dorothy Surgeon.
