Belle Tracy Morse, 91, formerly of Rochester (NH), died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Havenwood-Heritage Heights in Concord (NH). She was born in Mercer, Maine on June 3, 1912, the daughter of David and Elva (Brown) Tracy. She attended Mercer schools, graduated from Norridgewock (ME) High School. She was a 1932 graduate of Farmington (ME.) Normal School. She taught five years in Maine and twenty-five years in the Rochester (NH) public schools. She taught children with special needs in Rochester prior to her full time employment. She was married for 67 years to Glendon V. Morse who predeceased her in 2000. They wintered in Punta Gorda, FL, after their retirement. She enjoyed her family, friends, teaching, and traveling around the United States. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Walter Tracy of Mercer, ME. and Linwood B. Tracy of Laconia, NH. Survivors include her two daughters, Elizabeth O'Donnell of Raymond and Marilyn Colby of Wilder Village in Hartford, VT; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Memorial service will be held July 19, 2003 at 10:30 AM in the Havenwood Auditorium, 33 Christian Ave., Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Methodist Church of Rochester or the Havenwood-Heritage Heights of Concord.
