Manchester- Bert Esburnett, 77, of Pine Street, Manchester, died February 2, 2008 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. He was born on January 26, 1931 in Pittsfield, NH the son of the late George and Lucy (Wenchill) Esburnett. He was a longtime resident of Manchester. Bert served his country during the Korean Conflict. He served in the US Army and received the Valor Bronze Medal Star. He married Harriet Emma Kendall on July 17, 1971 in Manchester. Bert worked at Velcro USA in Manchester for 28 years. He enjoyed going for rides and spending his spare time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed doing "Circle A Word" puzzles and playing cards. His family members include his wife of 36 years, Harriet Esburnett of Manchester; two daughters, Roberta Gahm and April Esburnett both of Manchester, brother, Ralph Esburnett and his significant other Susan Reil-Tobin both of Pittsfield; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Joyce Esburnett. There are no calling hours. His Service will be held in the Chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, Boscawen, on Friday at 2:00 PM.
