Bethany Britt, originally born Bethany Culbertson, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 13th while being comforted by her adoring mother and husband. She had continued to battle a rare disease known as neuroendocrine cancer to every extent possible for 5 years. Beth was diagnosed with this disease on the same day she learned of being pregnant with her youngest son. She carried him full term while enduring extensive medical treatment, countless emergency room visits, and eventually life saving surgery. She then carried him full term and gave birth to her son on April 15th. Determined to fight on, Beth then returned to medical treatment within days.
Prior to becoming an incredible mother and wife, Beth studied Psychology at the University of New Hampshire. After graduation, she then went on to earn her Masters Degree at Lesley University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During her childhood, High School, and College years, Beth met some of the most incredible friends she held dear for her entire life. After college, Beth turned her dreams into reality and opened her own Therapy Practice in her childhood hometown of Westford, Massachusetts. There she would continue to help clients face some of life’s greatest challenges and help them navigate them in a way only she was capable of doing.
Beth was loved beyond measure by everyone she spent time with. Her two sons especially. She most enjoyed her yearly summer vacations to Cape Cod, Autumn harvests, excursions to the mountains, and simple time with her family. She could be seen in the pool with her boys, attending baseball games, crafting for friends, or spreading love to her countless nieces and nephews - even those not related by blood. Along with this, she regularly met with others dealing with hardship and grief to offer support even in her hardest of times. Beth refused to identify with the word “Can’t” and her strength inspired all those who learned her story.
Beth is survived by her husband Charlie, her two sons Paxton and Luca, father Frank Culbertson, step-mother Pam Culbertson, mother Laura Kirk, step-father Jeff Kirk, brother Matt, sister-in-law Alissa, and their two children, Matthew and Hayden. Beth will be celebrated on Sunday, November 24th at Alpine Grove in Hollis, New Hampshire from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for support for her boys she is survived on by.

Beth’s story is not one of sadness. It is a story of strength, bravery, compassion, love, and peace. She will forever be her family’s shining light.
