C. Elizabeth (Bette) Rockwell, 91, of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts passed away on March 15th surrounded by family and friends.
Born on November 5,1929 in Berwick, Nova Scotia, daughter of Charles and Rose (Thorpe) Rockwell.
Bette was well known in the bowling community. She was a member of the AMF Staff of Champions for three years and was inducted into the Massachusetts Hall of Fame for superior bowling in 1983. She also had a passion for fishing and spent many days attempting to catch trophy fish.
Bette is survived by her life partner, Nancy Goddard of Tyngsborough, brother in law and sister in law, Richard and Cindy Goddard of Shirley, Mass., brother in law and sister in law, Robert and Debra Goddard of New Hampshire, niece and husband, Ashley Goddard and Steve Mahon of Pepperell, Mass., and nephew and his wife, Adam and Heather Goddard of Groton, Mass. as well as a niece and two nephews from Canada. Bette had friends too numerous to mention that she held dear to her heart.
Though we wish we could gather, due to the pandemic, we will honor Bette with a private celebration of life in the spring.
