Betty M. Ball

Betty M. (Lees) Ball, 79, of Franklin, NH died Saturday May 17th at Lakes Region Hospital. She was born in Tilton, NH on October 8, 1928, the daughter of George Lees Sr. and Dorothy (Benton) Lees. Mrs. Ball was employed at Merrimack County Nursing Home for 20 years until her retirement in 1997. She had many happy years of gardening, biking, camping, and canoeing after retirement. Survivors include: her husband of 40 years, Harlie E. Ball; her daughter Nancy lagueux Cahill of Franklin, NH; her granddaughter and her husband Tammy and Ashley Nydegger and their children; her sister Nancy (Lees) Bouchard of Groveland, MA; two stepdaughters Jodi Barnes of FL, Debra Delucca of Laconia; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Ball was predeceased by her younger brother George Lees Jr. of Tilton, NH; her younger sister Dorothea Raffaelly of Franklin, NH; her grandson Scott Shedd of Northfield, NH. A future Christian Graveside Service is planned at the family lot in Guildhall, VT.
