Betty L. Johnson

Betty Louise Johnson ,79, passed away on July 25, 2022, at home in Manchester. She was born on May 10, 1943, in Portland, ME, the daughter of Edward R. Harriman and Freda Lenora Perkins.

She was the wife of Augustus E. Johnson. They were married on July 25, 1985, in Manchester, NH.

Betty went to NHTI for Travel & Tourism. She was Previously married to Johnny Mac Bryant, they had 2 children and prior to that widowed by Ed Mitchell they also had 2 children.

She enjoyed sewing, macramé, and pottery, collecting elephants, she also loved shopping and flea markets with coffee.

Betty was predeceased by her granddaughter Tanysha A. Johnson daughter of John C. Bryant.

She is survived by 4 children: Sherry Young, Eddie Mitchell, John C. Bryant, and Samantha Bryant. Her 4 granddaughters: Jessica Young, Alisha H. Morin, Paige J. Smith, and Leanna S. Bryant. She also has 3 grandsons: Eric Mitchell, Damian E. Benjamin, and Jordan P. Johnson. She also has great grandchildren surviving her, Aliyah Paquette, Luke Paquette, Dennis Ricci, Joseph Ricci. 3 brothers: Erlin Harriman, William Adam's, and Dale Adam's. Betty also has a surviving nephew & niece Billie Adams and Bridget Harriman. 

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, the 6th day of August 2022 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH 03104.
