Betty Constance Pike, 85, of Lyme Center, NH died March 31, 2008 at Alice Peck Hospital in Lebanon following a period of declining health. She was born on March 1, 1923 in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Albert and Violet (Mead) Schwotzer. She was raised and educated in Manchester. Betty worked as a nurse at Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon for a number of years. She enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. Betty was the Chief Instructor of Hunter Safety for the NH Fish and Game. She also enjoyed travel via bus tours with her husband and spending time with her friends. She is survived by her son, Arthur Pike of Lyme Center, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers, David Schwotzer of Alexandria and William Clark of Arizona; sister, Doris Hadam of Moultonboro, NH and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Pike, and her two sons, Lawrence and Ralph Pike. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 5th, at 10:00 AM at the Lyme Congregational Church, 1 Dorchester Rd, Lyme.
