Betty Roberts

Betty J. Roberts, 79, of Amherst, NH and formerly of Hudson, NH, died September 5th, 2002 at Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center after a period of failing health. She was a communicant of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua, NH. She had a great love of children and books and was devoted to her family, friends and her church. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hugh B. Roberts. Family members include: Two sons, David Roberts and wife Deb of Newport, NH; Alan Roberts of Nashua NH; A daughter, Bonnie Brownell and partner James Hanlon of Amherst NH; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A brother, Willis Hill of Concord, NH; Two sisters, Ruth Chiasson of West Lebanon, NH and Barbara Dugan of Brookline, MA; Sister-in-law Joan Hill of Marlborough, MA; She was predeceased by daughter Priscilla and two brothers, George Hill and Edward Hill. She also had many nieces and nephews. The family requests that you please make a donation in her memory to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd 214 Main Street Nashua, NH on Saturday September 14th at 1:00 P.m.
